About Pukkelpop
Pukkelpop, a four-day festival established in 1985 by the Humanist Youth of Leopoldsburg, has roots tracing back to De Pukkel, their youth house. From its modest origins, the festival has blossomed into a premier European music event, attracting a staggering 66,000 visitors each day. Its growth is a testament to the power of grassroots initiatives in shaping cultural landscapes.
MUSIC, IT’S YOU, IT’S ALWAYS YOU
Pukkelpop consciously opts for a broad, eclectic program: from solid rock to quiet singer-songwriters, exhilarating dance, pure pop, deafening metal, intense rap, and more. The lineup features today's popular artists, tomorrow's big world stars, living legends supplemented with local talent. Pukkelpop has a knack for it. Nirvana, Amy Winehouse, Foo Fighters, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa: you could discover them in their early days on the grounds in Kiewit. For every generation, for every music enthusiast, there's something special to discover at Pukkelpop. And we're proud of that.

LET’S GO EXPLORE
From the moment the festival grounds open at 11:00 a.m. in the morning, there's something to experience. If it's not on one of the stages, then certainly at Boulevard Bizar - a kilometer of mobile rock 'n fun: (street) theater, performance art, and other indescribable craziness. In the Ferris wheel, you have a fantastic view over the festival grounds, for breathtaking projections, you should head back to ground level, at the 3D video wall. Food Wood is a paradise for foodies with an extensive and delicious selection: from vegetarian to vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free. Pictures speak louder than a thousand words, but if you truly want to experience every facet of Pukkelpop, just come to Kiewit!

Pukkelpop came to life in 1985 at youth house De Pukkel, an initiative of the Humanist Youth Leopoldsburg, known today as HAJEE!. The bond between Pukkelpop and its visitors, the Pukkelpoppers, is exceptionally special. Pukkelpop is more than just a festival; it's a unique experience where music, friendship, and connection take center stage.
