New names for Pukkelpop
PUKKELPOP PIZZA
Putting together a lineup is like picking a pizza. You’ve got the classics—margherita, quattro stagioni, pepperoni—or something with a surprising twist: avocado, Nutella, blue cheese… And then there’s the ever-controversial Hawaiian pizza—the sweet-savory mix that some love and others hate. A recipe for debate, and that’s exactly what makes both pizzas and lineups so exciting.
FIREWORKS ON FRIDAY
Grammy-winner Chappell Roan, Chase & Status, and Oscar and the Wolf are already locked in for Friday, August 15, alongside trailblazing techno queen Amelie Lens, who recently sold out Flanders Expo 3 times with her sister-in-charms, Charlotte de Witte. British producer and DJ Jamie xx will also be there, blending UK garage, house, and post-dubstep with influences from soul, jazz, and world music. Singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka? Yep, present! Delivering warm, captivating, melancholic melodies that wrap around you like a cozy blanket. And to top it all off ... Pommelien Thijs. The queen of the MIA’s, who opened the Main Stage last year for 40,000 Pukkelpoppers, is more than ready to take WTF to the next level.
SUN ON SATURDAY
A$AP Rocky, IDLES, and Joost are already part of the lineup and it just keeps getting better with the sunshine-infused psych-rock of Khruangbin and the godfather of Belgian drum ‘n’ bass, and PKP regular, Netsky. Paul Kalkbrenner remains loyal to his signature techno sound and will be adding a fifth wristband to his Pukkelpop collection on Saturday, August 16.
BLISS ON SUNDAY
No better day than Sunday for the enchanting, feel-good vibes of Norwegian artist AURORA - magical and mysterious, just the way we love it. Also showing serious fondness for Royel Otis, the Australian indie duo who went viral with covers of Murder on the Dancefloor and Linger, and have since built a solid live reputation.
Earlier, Queens of the Stone Age, Papa Roach, and Justice were also confirmed for the final day of Pukkelpop and Sunday, August 17, will also be a standout for fans of Zwangere Guy, who will be performing his only festival set of the summer. Since his last major show at Pukkelpop 2023, a lot has happened: he became a father, starred in the feature film Comeback, worked as an author/actor/composer for the series PUTAIN, and is now counting down to the release of his new album, dropping on September 24.
