Pukkelpop wins De Mia's Sector Lifetime Achievement Award

This Sector Lifetime Achievement Award is a great honor for Pukkelpop and a wonderful recognition of our passion for music. What started out in 1985 as a small alternative festival organized by the Humanistische Jongeren Leopoldsburg has grown into the Pukkelpop we know today, 40 years later, with 66,000 visitors a day, over 250 artists – from up-and-coming talents to massive global stars – and 9 stages each edition. But Pukkelpop is more than just numbers: it’s a music festival that connects people from all over the world in the most beautiful way. Pukkelpop is a labor of love, a work of heart, every day, every night if needed, because only the very best is good enough for our Pukkelpoppers. I dedicate this award to them and to everyone who has been part of our Pukkelpop story in one way or another.
