The Whatevers started out by combining danceable rock tunes and hip hop jams. But as the ride got faster, louder and more interesting, they didn't mind blending other styles in a sometimes unorthodox yet very creative and efficient soundsystem selection of bangers and classics. For some years The Whatevers has been a solo project of Kim Mathijs (also known as Michael Midnight or dj-projects like Ed&Kim and Flashback Force).
These days it's a mix of the finest genre-crossing and energetic party anthems from over the last 5 decades, the present and the future. Whatever fits! Let's not forget the Whatever! parties, which have been going strong for 10 years now. Besides playing all the major festivals through the years (Rock Werchter, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, ... the list is endless). An versatile and energetic selection, technically strong and fast mixing and always a surprise = The Whatevers!
